Kleiner Perkins Has Halted Investments in Web 2.0

A few pointers follow for those that don't have time (or RSS) to read the newspaper.

Did anyone see Monday's WashPost article on dc startupweekend? Did anyone participate? Pretty neat stuff- create a viable company in a weekend...

The other article in yesterday's paper was on funding for Web 2.0 companies. Greg Gershman, of blogdigger and now dc techbeat pointed to the following notice that Kleiner Perkins has halted investments in Web 2.0 companies.

Is anyone starting a 'Web 2.0' company? Do you think that startup funding is easier or harder to get than it was in the 90's? A better question is probably if someone can give us a definition of what 'Web 2.0' really means :-)
