Blogging the war

There are several very good resources on the current ME war to keep you up to date.

the truth laid bear has a Middle East mash up comprised of Israeli, Palestinian and Lebanese Bloggers. ttlb has also included a most linked to section for each group of bloggers.

Pajamas Media has ongoing news and views from the mainstream press and bloggers. As an example, here is the news for today, July 25. Daily archives appear in the right hand column.

Pajamas Media also has a special correspondent blogging from a Haifa bunker. Live from an Israel Bunker has caused something of a sensation. Eugene, the blogger, is 17 yrs. old and also does a podcast over on Pajamas Media.

And, take a look at some of these photos while you're having your morning cup of coffee. Then, go here and give some money to the cause.

American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) is America's pro-Israel lobby group and one of the reasons that the administration is steadfast in its support of Israel's position during the current war.

Washington, DC Rally for Israel

I was at today's rally in support of Israel. So were alot of other people and... it was hot.
Israel's Ambassador Daniel Ayalon made it clear to the crowd that Iran will pay a price for its support of Hizballah.

While I try to get pics off my Treo 700 (arggh), you can see more of today's rally here and here.

A senseless act of violence

Alan Senitt, intern for Mark Warner, was killed on Saturday night in Washington, DC. Alan, at 27 yrs. old, was already a leader in the British Jewish Community.

You can read more about it here and here.

Sometimes it sucks to live in the nation's Capitol. This is one of those times.

Angry Customers Use Web to Shame Firms

Here is yet another article about the ease & power of the Internet
when it comes to spreading the word about bad customer service. Things have changed quite a bit (thanks to Web 2.0 services like youtube) with consumers understanding how to get the word out beyound putting up a Web site like AOL Watch.
