The business of blogging

The San Francisco Chronicle had an interesting article on the business of blogging. A great quote from Paul Chaney of The Radiant Marketing Group:

It's not so much about controlling the message as engaging in a conversation. It lets people see the inside of your business and who you are. It builds a relationship on the blog and off the blog. I don't know of any other medium that allows that kind of communication.

I think that Paul is right. It's all about engaging people vs broadcasting a message.
